This event will support the peace and sustainability conference being held at UNE in December:  Environmental and Sustainable Peace, Social Justice and Creative Activism: a conference celebrating 40 years of Peace Studies at UNE.

It is a competition for high school students in the Armidale, Uralla and Inverell LGAs. 

The topic for the competition is,  We can achieve peaceful communities. And we can live sustainably. Here’s how we do both.

Categories for the competition include speaking, writing, art and drama. 

The top few submissions in each category will be invited to present/perform at the Conference.
