NSW Speaking 4 the Planet 2022
All NSW Councils are invited to support high schools in their LGAs to participate in the 2022 Speaking 4 the Planet competition.
The 2022 competition will be held online.
S4P will use as its focus the 2022 World Environment Day theme, Only One Earth. This theme will highlight the possibilities for shifting to more sustainable, greener lifestyles.
Categories
Competition categories for the 2022 S4P competition are:
- Speaking
- Writing
- Song
- Performance poetry
- Art
- Video
Students can enter submissions in one or more categories. All submissions will be made online.
For this year, the top 5 students in the speaking and performance poetry categories will be invited to give their presentations live online! A panel of judges will select the winners.

All high school students in these local government areas are invited to enter the competition.

Closing Date
The closing date 31 May 2022.
The Submission Portal opens on 17 May 2022.
